Hello, and welcome to my site.

Guitarist - Songwriter
Hard Rock, Melodic Rock, Blues, Country

I hope you find something you like in here.

A little background........

Growing up in the 60's-70's-80's in Omaha, Nebraska, I was exposed to a lot of different music. Even though most of my material is blues rock and hard rock based, my first real big musical influence was......early 60's Buck Owens and the Buckaroos.

From there, Top 40 radio crept in. The Mighty 1290 KOIL-AM!!!! (The first rock and roll song I learned how to play was "Last Train to Clarksville" by The Monkees.)

In the early 70's, I started to gravitate towards the harder blues based FM rock (KQ-98 and Z92). A lesser known "treat" was being able to pick up KAAY-AM out of Arkansas late at night, for the "underground" Beaker Street program.

The 80's for me musically consisted of anything from any genre that caught my ear. The 80's also saw a relocation for me to the Southern California area.

And here we are........

Tip: Some of the tunes on this site are work I've done with other artists, and hence come from other sources.

EQ: Adjusting your stereo/computer/whatever bass/treble/EQ to taste is suggested. For some reason, on Windows Media Player the EQ setting that seems to work best with headphones is "Classical". YMMV.

Also, Windows Media Players sometimes have "Loudness Equalization" or auto volume leveling set to ON. BOOOO!!!!
To turn it OFF (Windows Vista):
-Right click the speaker icon/symbol
-Select Playback Devices
-Double click Speakers/Headphones
-Enhancements
-Loudness Equalization, set to OFF.
YMMV.

Like I said before, I hope you find something you like on my site. Thanks again for visiting.

Sincerely,

Artie
