Short Song Description:

Long Song Description: Version #1: The primary "electric" version, a pretty straight forward electric version. The guitar solo is sort of inspired by Joe Satriani. The V1/V2 main melody hopefully has a Robin Trower vibe to it.
The basic tracks were sort of inspired by the great Deep Purple, combined with the vibe of a late 80's Whitesnake power ballad of sorts. Ian Paice, Jon Lord and Roger Glover/Rudy Sarzo can hopefully be felt when listening.

Story Behind the Song: Originally intended to be background music for a "we are doomed" type movie/TV show/ (It's on the web site under "Em7 Background".)
Then, it was intended to morph into more of a "song" with lyrics. (Lyrics are forthcoming.)
In the interim, it has turned into an instrumental.
At that point the title changed to "5 Seconds".
You know how as you go through life and look back on things, and sometimes you come to forks in the proverbial road, and in a matter of a few heartbeats the course of your life can change based upon the decisions that you make? Well, there you have it. Sometimes 5 seconds can make all the difference.
