Long Song Description: My first musical influence in a big way was Buck Owens and the Buckaroos. One of my favorite albums of theirs was the "Instrumental Hits" album in the early 60's, which just happened to have a couple of polkas on it. The "Shamrock" reference is to a large portion of my youth that was spent in O'neill, Nebraska (a.k.a. the "Shamrock City") with various relatives and friends.
